The use of V-shaped regulating ball valve

Date: 2023.06.20   Views: 270

A V-shaped regulating ball valve is a special form of ball valve in which a V-shaped hole is engraved on the ball.

V-type regulating ball valve is mainly used in the following aspects:

1. Flow adjustment: V-shaped regulating ball valve can adjust the flow of fluid by rotating the position of the ball. Because the ball is engraved with a V-shaped hole, the valve can gradually adjust the area of the flow channel during the opening or closing process, thereby realizing precise control of the fluid flow.
2. Blocking ability: V-shaped regulating ball valve has good blocking ability. When the ball is rotated to close, the V-shaped hole can be fully embedded in the valve seat to form a seal, thus effectively preventing fluid leakage.
3. Temperature and pressure control: V-shaped regulating ball valve is suitable for control systems of high-temperature and high-pressure media. Because the fluid needs to go through multiple turns when passing through the ball, the pressure loss of the fluid is reduced, and the wear of the fluid is also reduced, making the valve suitable for higher temperature and pressure conditions.
4. Long service life of the valve: Due to the small contact area between the ball and the seat of the V-shaped regulating ball valve, the friction between the ball and the seat is small, thereby reducing the wear of the valve and prolonging the service life of the valve.

To sum up, the V-type regulating ball valve is mainly used for flow regulation, strong blocking ability, temperature and pressure control, and long service life. It is widely used in industrial fields in fluid control systems that require precise flow regulation and higher operating temperatures and pressures.
